Committee on Information and Research

Committee on International Marketing / Marketing & Communications

·    To increase foreign awareness of the Philippines’ Offshore software industry (“Brand Philippines”)

·    To promote Filipino SW products and services to local and global markets

·    To promote the Filipino SW industry to a wider stakeholder base – current & potential SW dev professionals, academe, government, other local/foreign IT & non-IT associations, general public

Committee on Capability Development

·    To support improved Recruitment, Retooling and Retention within the software sector by developing and implementing human resource development programs

Committee on Ethics and Membership

·    To promote integrity within the membership by establishing a Code of Ethics for PSIA

Committee on Government Relations

·    To represent the Association in government forums and advocate on issues that concern the SW industry

·    Representation in the Technical Working Group for the Departmentalization of CICT

Japan Market Group

·    To promote partnership between Philippine based IT service companies and Japanese firms and envision business in global market

·    Heading the Philippine delegation to the annual Software Development Expo (SODEC) in Tokyo

·    Exchange meetings between PSIA members and Computer Software Association Japan (CSAJ) members

·    Collaborations with Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO)
